With a solid rating of 4.4, it has earned a reputation for offering guests an authentic urban experience enriched by its proximity to cultural landmarks like the Monumento a la Revolución.
This hotel stands out not for luxury amenities but for its genuine atmosphere and community vibe. It's especially appealing to those traveling with children, emphasizing a kid-friendly environment in a dense, central neighborhood filled with government offices, traditional cantinas, and rich historical sites.

EDIT: This review may be out of date as i've not been back to Mexico City now in over two years. I think they had recently changed management around the time of my last visit, so look at the dates on the reviews to see whether they're still relevant. My review below is from 2019: Fascinating place to stay close to the Monumento a la Revolución. Recommended for those who wish to meet people and stay in a religiously inspired hostel. Activities include weekly meetings of the Society of Friends, yoga, and daily social breakfasts for a small fee. Note that this is not a hotel; asking to stay here is making a request, not booking a reservation. Currently there is demolition going on behind the building during the daytime so bring earplugs and a sense of goodwill toward others if you need daytime rest.
